Not much is known about him. But we do know he established his presence in the VenomsGroup with his superb kicking skills. He was introduced as the Scorpion Venom in Five Deadly Venoms. He was not used as much as the others when it came to starring or fighting in their movies. Part of this was due to the fact that he knew practically no chinese, which made it difficult to work with Opera trained veterans on the complex fight routines.
Although underused, Sun Chien still managed to shine on the screen right with the best of them. His calm attitude and astute presence placed him in several roles where you do not know whether he is the hero, the villain, or both! Sun Chien has a great training sequence in Crippled Avengers. His amazing kicking agility shows in Killer Army and 2 Champions of Shaolin.
